ACCAC Player of the Week- Week 8

Jolissa Valdez – Eastern Arizona  – Valdez led the Gila Monsters in the circle last week, winning a pair of outings against Scottsdale and Phoenix. Valdez allowed three earned runs while striking out seven batters in a 12-3 win over the Fighting Artichokes before allowing just one earned run and striking out six in a 10-2 win over Phoenix.

Gianna Villegas – Eastern Arizona  –Villegas went 6-for-12 in four Gila Monsters' wins last week, doubling once while smacking three triples and driving in seven runs. The freshman scored four runs and walked twice while stealing a base in sweeps of both Scottsdale and Phoenix.
