Monsters Battle the Elements at NJCAA National Preview in Kansas

The Eastern Arizona College men's golf team faced challenging conditions at the NJCAA National Preview in Kansas, battling strong winds and cold temperatures to finish 11th overall (+32) against a highly competitive national field.

Leading the way for the Monsters was Alec Yap, who finished tied for ninth at 2-under (71–71), while Pavel Casas followed closely behind in T11 at 1-under (69–74).

Derek McCoy finished T65 (+16), Hachi Iem placed T70 (+19), and Jack Kaul rounded out the team in T73 (+21).

Head Coach Cabezas said the event offered valuable experience for the team as they prepare for the spring national championship. "The conditions were tough, but the guys competed hard and learned a lot," the coach said. "We're excited to build on this and come back stronger for nationals."
