Monsters Open Season at Scottsdale

The Monsters opened the 2026 season on January 27 with a road trip to Scottsdale Community College.

Eastern Arizona got off to a good start, taking a 2–0 lead early in the game. With four games scheduled for the upcoming weekend against Chandler-Gilbert Community College, the Monsters used the opener to manage their pitching staff and get multiple arms game experience.

Nine different pitchers saw action, with each throwing one inning. While there were a couple of rough outings, the approach allowed every pitcher to remain available for the weekend doubleheaders.

Eastern Arizona will travel to Chandler-Gilbert Community College to face the Coyotes in doubleheaders on January 30 and 31.
